Evaluation of the Canine Court Companion Program

The aim of the research design is to establish and promote standards of excellence that can both communicate and work with the relevant court communities that will be involved in the Canine Court Companion Program including in Remote Witness Rooms. And more specifically, identify the mechanisms that achieve the program’s aim and objectives.
The overarching research question will therefore be:
What impact does the Canine Court Companion Program have on people who are court users and may be experiencing significant stress and anxiety arising from court procedures and hearings?
