Project Description
The purpose of the Environmental Scan is to undertake a systematic analysis of the content and design of learning difficulties websites of Australian educational jurisdictions (and select international jurisdictions) to inform the development of the new Learning Difficulties including Dyslexia website.
The Environmental Scan and report will map, compare and analyse the content of each jurisdictions' learning difficulties website, key design features, mediums used to present information, strengths and weaknesses of each website and identify key themes across national and international websites.
The project outcomes will include:
A) A report based on the systemic research review and in-depth Environmental Scan of websites on students with learning difficulties from Australia and other international jurisdictions
B) Consult with the organisation on the findings and outcomes of the Environmental Scan to agree the methodology, formats and other outputs for the report
C) Based on the Environmental Scan and other relevant data sources, prepare a written report which:
- describes the processes and methodology employed to undertake the Environmental Scan
- summarises the findings of the Environmental Scan
- provides recommendations for strategically designing the Organisation's new Learning Difficulties including dyslexia website, including content that should be included on the site
