Project Description
Public hospitals in Australia are seeking a better understanding of the service utilisation aspects of patient care and the technologies that will help them achieve this. An increasingly important source of service utilisation data required by hospital management is clinical pathway information (CPI). The primary aim of this project is to investigate how patient care can be improved using a digitized clinical pathway data management system (DCPMS) in an Australian public hospital. The project will design and implement a DCPMS for collecting and presenting CPI at the point of care, and analyzing and reporting CPI information to hospital management.
