Project Description

The proposed integrated facility aims at providing enhanced capabilities for the speciation and ultra-trace level detection of metallic species, ions and volatiles in complex gaseous, liquid and solid samples. State-of-the-art hyphenated analytical techniques will be utilized by a team of world-class scientists at both Melbourne and Monash Universities. This will facilitate cutting-edge research involving environmental, biological and materials science projects, funded by both the Australian research Council and industry. The facility will further strengthen research collaboration both at and between the participating universities in area of global significance such as the environment, new materials and health.
