Project Description
The English as an Additional Language (EAL) pedagogy for secondary school classrooms provides participants with the skills and expertise both to teach EAL students within the context of the broader school community, and to create an inclusive and supportive learning environment for these learners. This program has an embedded research component that investigates the impact of the course on the teachers' language awareness and classroom practices. The research involves an online survey, a group reflection and two assessment tasks.
