Project Description
The English as an Additional Language (EAL) pedagogy for emergent, bi/multi lingual language learnings program providesparticipants with the skills and expertise to teach EAL learners within the context of the broader school community and will help them better understand how to create an inclusive and supportive learning environment for EAL learners.
This program will have a research component embedded, with the aim to explore participating teachers' practice with new arrival EAL students, and the impact of the Monash EAL course on their practice. The research will involve participating teachers completing an online survey, contributing to focus group discussion and sharing samples of EAL students work.
