The PI hold 2 local patents for 2 different Field Water Treatment Systems which is widely used in and outside Malaysia mainly for providing clean water access for HADR missions and remote areas. The Malaysian Army, through the Engineer Corps, is requesting the PI to design and build a new Field Water Treatment System to solve water quality and safety issues in operations' area. The design of this new water treatment system has been completed by PI. Funding will be transferred to Monash University Malaysia to build this system, perform pre and post test of the water quality and safety .The main objective is to reduce the risk of waterborne diseases issues in the Malaysian Army operational area.
