    There is a disparity between understanding the importance of school belonging in a research context and knowing how it can be developed and fostered in day-to-day practice in schools. As a result, it has been unclear as to what interventions are available to schools for increasing students’ sense of school belonging (Korpershoek et al., 2019). The aim of this systematic review is to identify studies that have evaluated school-based interventions in secondary school settings that have found positive outcomes for student school belonging.
