Dynamic personalisation fr assisted navigation of information rich, physical environments.

The availability of vast amounts of electronic content, coupled with recent advances in mobile access, creates new opportunities to automatically tailor information to individual users. We will research concepts and mechanisms that can provide personalised and dynamically adapted information to mobile phone uses in diverse information rich, changing environments. This research will contribute to the fields of language technology and context-aware computing, addressing the key challenges of how to design and exploit models of users to dynamically generate and deliver content. Key outcomes include novel computational models whose feasibility will be evaluated by means of implemented prototypes in selected test domains.
