Project Description
During this project, MUARC will undertake analysis and modelling work on the NSW Random Breath Testing (RBT) and Mobile Drug Testing (MDT) programs to understand enforcement and crash trends as well as the impact of different RBT and MDT scenarios on road trauma. Results from the analysis would provide an evidence base for consideration of enhancements to the NSW drink and drug driving enforcement strategy, to optimise testing programs and improve road safety outcomes.
