Project Description

Over the past five years the Monash University Accident Research Centre (MUARC) has performed three reviews of epidemiological studies (including naturalistic driving studies) of mobile phone use and crash risk for VicRoads (Stephan, 2012; 2014; 2015). The reviews focused on analytical studies (including a control group) that investigated real-world road safety outcomes and estimated the association between mobile phone use and crash risk.

The project will comprise an update of the previous reviews conducted for VicRoads and a presentation of the outcomes to the TAC.
