Development of intervention models for addressing gender- based violence among transgender women

The project includes several components: (i) Development of a digitized community-led Screening, Brief Intervention and Referral to Treatment (SBIRT). SBIRT intervention for addressing GBV including discrimination, and persecution among transwomen; (ii) a toolkit of mixed-methods digitized tools to identify GBV and enhance access to justice among transwomen; (iii) a pilot trial testing the feasibility, acceptability, quality and safety of an innovative tablet-based intervention model in two transgender communities in Indonesia (Yogyakarta and Greater Jakarta) and (iv) a process documentation to understand multi-level factors that may impede or facilitate adoption and sustainability of the community engaged approach to deploying the intervention and its integration with SRH and HIV prevention, treatment, and care services..
