Project Description
This application describes a body of work that seeks to explore the clinical translatability of recent discoveries in the area of melanocyte biology. This work has identified putative human melanocyte progenitors, as well as ways in which these cells might be exploited to treat vitiligo and to prevent melanoma. This project will support initial pre-clinical testing of these therapeutic possibilities.
