Developing mechanisms and interventions to enrich students’ experiences of flipped classroom learning

Project: Research

Project Details

Project Description

Although the flipped classroom has been regarded as an innovative approach for university teaching, knowledge and experience regarding the practical significance of this approach for students’ learning experiences remains controversial in management education. Some reports suggested that students enjoy such approach and find it effective for their learning, while other evidence reported that students often disengage in the flipped environment losing interest to learn. This project therefore aims to 1) identify key factors to drive positive flipped classroom experiences, 2) create effective interventions to identify at-risk students who are failing behind, and 3) develop a practical guide for facilitating the flipped classroom in Australian and New Zealand universities.
