Project Description

In the current study, we have three key aims: (1) to better understand how prison work informs the armed forces-civilian divide for ex-armed forces (ex-Services) personnel; (2) the role of the prison as a site of armed forces-civilian transition for ex-Service personnel; and (3) the impact of ex-Service personnel on provincial correctional services in relation to their stated objectives of “care, custody, and control” in three Canadian provinces.
