Project Description
Compounds Australia at Griffith University is home to the nation’s compound collections of >670,000 compounds. The requested Labcyte Echo 550 acoustic dispenser with Combination Software will provide capability for Compounds Australia to deliver even more sophisticated assay-ready screening formats to a growing national membership (currently 22 academic, not-for-profit and industry organisations). The Echo is the only liquid handling dispenser for 1536-well microplates and critical to allow Australia’s researchers the option to develop assay miniaturization. The benefits of this are substantial, including reduction in test compound and reagents, which in turn reduces laboratory costs, conserves cells and increases data quality.
