The project aims to improve health outcomes and reduce costs by providing better information to GPs and consumers to support compliance and behaviour change after hospitalisation for myocardial infarction. Information would focus especially on the consumer and be in the form of AI-driven educational information, health-driven guidelines, medication tracking and compliance/adherence advice. Development of these techniques will leverage behavioural science expertise at Amgen and Monash. Data from the Alfred Health EMR will be stored and analysed using the Helix platform at Monash University. If successful, the project will result in new techniques and guidelines for engaging GPs and consumers after an MI event.
