    Project Description

When we look ahead to the next 3-5 years, we see the critical decade to 2030 and we know from our experience of the last decade that what we are doing is working and the task now is to do more of it - reach more sectors and more decision-makers, with more teams working concurrently because the pace of emissions reduction nationally must double this decade.

The 2020’s is the critical decade according to climate scientists and policy experts. It is also the decade when the momentum is pulling in the right direction - technology costs have fallen so much that solutions are now widely available, consumer sentiment has strengthened toward climate action and sustainable products, investors and businesses are responding to this and growing regulatory and policy signals. The climate change question is now about how we will act not if we will act. It’s the implementation race.

Therefore ClimateWorks strategy for our next forward plan draws on our successes of the last 10 years and seeks to deepen and broaden our work on implementing solutions, to scale our impact across more sectors concurrently as the next 10 years are the next critical decade for climate action by 2030.
