Project Description
Part 1 (0-6 months): Establish clear baseline of accuracies and inaccuracies in the discourse and community attitudes/understanding to inform effective messaging (lit review, survey, focus groups, media and policy content analysis, message efficacy)
Output: Report for sharing with the wider Epic partners
Part 2a (6-24 months): Design and deliver hyperlocal news content using existing partnership with News Corp
Part 2b (6-24 months): Design and deliver local radio content, extending existing partnership with Southern Cross Austereo (SCA) to significantly expand audience reach and to target priority regions engaged with gas issues (e.g. communities reliant on hard-to-abate industries and/or impacted by renewables rollout).
Outputs: Minimum 8 gas-focussed articles delivered to News Corp; expanded content and audience reach through Southern Cross Austereo network.
Part 3 (final 6 months): Project evaluation – follow up survey and listener focus groups, report.
