    Project Description

Building change detection with a high success rate is hard to automate. This project aims at automatic building change detection and semi-automatic update of the building map using multispectral imagery and height data. Building detection, an essential prerequisite of change detection, will help in sending warning messages to the residents of an area when a possible natural calamity is forecasted. During natural disasters, it will facilitate in sending emergency aids and rescue missions to the affected area. After the mishaps, building change detection will help in rebuilding infrastructure. High success rates in automatic building detection and building change detection are expected. An up-to-date building map will also be available.
