Project Description
Turner Strategic Project Grants Scheme - Awarded value: $20,000
A participatory action research project that explores how Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students experience belonging using PhotoYarning. Led largely by current and former Monash students, this project asks students to take photos of where they belong, how they belong, and who they belong with. Sharing these photos with each other and yarning about the meaning will help to determine ways in which Monash University can support First Nations students to feel a sense of belonging and thereby improve their wellbeing.
