Project Details
Project Description
This proposal will provide new generations of advanced materials with applications such as microporosity, storage of gases such as hydrogen, methane and carbon dioxide, magnetic switching, long-range magnetic ordering, single molecule magnets, and ionic liquids. These will be generated through the synthesis and characterisation of new coordination polymers, supramolecular 'nanoballs', and new families of small nitrile anions, and through extensive collaboration within Australia and overseas (China in particular).
