    Project Details

    Project Description

An alternative pedagogy of palce wil be developed based on a case study of The Narran Lakes, an icon site for water stories of connection across the Murray-Darling Basin. A project team of Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal researchers wil record and map alternative local place stories of water connections across the area. The project will develop local community products and educational resources from these alternative stories and maps in an iterative process of data collection and analysis. It will identify the elements of an alternative place pedagogy to incorporate into educational settings and inform problem-solving of ecological issues in the area.
