This interdisciplinary project explores the lived experiences of Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD). Combining qualitative and creative methods, it will collect and analyse personal accounts from people living with BPD and mental health practitioners. The project will generate new knowledge about BPD that could be used initiatives addressing stigma and to enhance opportunities for social participation of people living with BPD. This project will also generate innovative Australian best practice digital resources incorporating the experiences, views and preferences of people with BPD and mental health practitioners to improve social supports for people with BPD, and inform policy and public debate.
