Project Details

Project Description

AuScope is the national provider of integrated research infrastructure to realise the collective potential of Australian Earth and Geospatial Science researchers.

The Simulation Analysis and Modelling (SAM) Software infrastructure provides for modelling and simulation which underpins the AuScope infrastructure system. As the software is inherently complex, activity will include continual maintenance in response to deployment on new/updated high-performance systems, bugs or other deficiencies detected by users, changes to the operating system environment over time, and updates in 3rd party software libraries.

Underworld is now over 10years old, yet continues to underpin major science. Driven by quality assurance activities, throughout this period long-standing work to re-invent the user interface to contemporary researcher expectations, required to maintain and grow user uptake and deliver to imminent research/analysis needs, will be released.
