This case study will research the processes and issues that affect the identification, attraction and
retention of public school principals in Australia.
The objectives of this research are to:
1) Understand current influences on principal attraction and recruitment;
2) Understand current influences on principal turnover intervention; and
3) Identify ways to strengthen principal retention
