Online scams are everywhere, costly, and distressing. People with ABI may be highly vulnerable to cyberscams due to their social isolation and cognitive impairments. Of 101 neurorehabilitation clinicians we surveyed, 50% reported their clients with ABI were scammed online, and recovery was rare. This project will co-create an online education and prevention resource specifically by and for people with ABI to increase their online safety skills and self-manage a reduction in their exposure to online risk. Video testimonials, self-evaluations, and a workbook will be developed, and face-to-face training in using these resources will be provided in the community.
