Project Details

Project Description

The OPTIMA ITTC aims to radically increase the impact of optimisation technologies in industry by improving the capability of optimisation methods to capture real-world requirements, enabling more effective application of these methods through improved end-user tools, and training the current and future workforce with the skills and knowledge to deliver optimisation projects. The project expects to deliver strong research outcomes through the development of new optimisation methods which integrate knowledge from different academic disciplines making up the field of optimisation. The Centre’s research- and industry-oriented outcomes will provide significant benefits by addressing a well-known knowledge gap in the digital economy.
