Project Description

The main goal of this study is to evaluate the implementation of ECPs using processual ap-proach in an organisation-wide study of a hospital health service to investigate outcomes over time.
Objectives
1. Investigating the effects of ECP establishment on pre-defined process indices (e.g. rate of compliance, handoffs errors, near misses, etc.) of the hospital.
2. Investigating the effects of ECP establishment on pre-defined efficiency and outcome indices (e.g. bed indices, expenditures, etc.) of the hospital.
3. Investigating the effects of ECP establishment on pre-defined effectiveness outcome indices (e.g. patient safety, mortality rate, etc.) of the hospital.
4. Illustrating change management process model focusing on moderating (i.e, age, gen-der, job position, ethnicity, language), mediating factors (intervening in establishment process of ECP.
