Project Description
The central aim of this project is to develop new and improved adenosine allosteric enhancers with potential applications in the therapy of cardiovascular disease. Specifically, enhancers with improved potency, ADME (absorption, distribution, metabolism and excretion) properties and reduced side effects are being sought. Another important aim is to develop new, more efficient approaches for the synthesis of poly-substituted thiophenes.
