Addressing Student Engagement Issues for Female and International Female Students in Computing Studies Courses.

We will use Student Experience Survey (SES) data to investigate the engagement of female students in general, and international female students in particular, in their Computing Studies (CS) courses in Australia. This work will provide deep insights into their engagement with their study by focusing on three features of the data set: gender, domestic/international status, and intention to discontinue studies. By analysing these three features we hope to identify and investigate factors that are disproportionately impacting these female students.
