Project Description

Carbon dioxide is receiving a lot of attention as a green-house gas responsible for anthropogenic climate
change. The development of a carbon-neutral or low-carbon economy is therefore of great interest. Central to
this is finding ways to turn carbon dioxide into useful materials. This project focuses on the application of
polyoxometalate derivatives in the development of robust and highly efficient catalysts for the conversion of
carbon dioxide into industrially useful raw materials, thereby creating a reservoir of renewable resources for
conversion into fuels and chemicals.
