Project Description

Funded by the Office of Learning and Teaching (OLT), Australia. Funding Awarded to Macquarie University, $227,000. This project developed best practice guidelines and resources to strengthen and enhance resources previously developed in the sector to deter academic dishonesty and promotion of ethical communities in universities. Collaborating universities include Macquarie University, the University of Sydney, the Australian Catholic University, and Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey. This project specifically focused on nurturing student leadership establishing grass-root level student associations on academic integrity that supplement the top-down approach of university management, as well as on understanding the cultural nuances that have an impact on the student behaviour in the context of academic integrity.
