The research project focuses on developing a tool to optimize nutrient control strategies and improve water quality. The system integrates hydrological, ecological, hydropower generation and socio-economic data to provide actionable insights for managing nutrient loads, mitigating eutrophication, and supporting sustainable reservoir operations. This approach aims to enhance the ecological health of tropical reservoirs while balancing their multiple uses, such as hydropower generation, water supply, and irrigation.
