A novel camera trap for insect pollinator biodiversity field monitoring and biometric analysis

Project: Research

Project Details

Project Description

The proposed research aims to address a lack of historical, current and ongoing processes for insect biometric data collection. It will develop a 3D camera trap for infield biometric analysis of live insects, especially pollinators. This innovative technology will facilitate biodiversity monitoring and analysis, supporting assessments of climate change and other anthropogenic impacts on insect populations.
