Project Description

A 700 MHz NMR spectometer is requested for the Melbourne Biomolecular NMR network. The spectrometer will support a broad range of biological and biomedical research programs with a focus on high-throughput analyses. The spectrometer will have the capacity for screening of fragment and small molecule libraries against macromolecular targets identified to be causative of disease; identification of metabolites from pathogens of animals and crops. The spectrometer will be located in a managed NMR network of spectrometers, available to researchers of the consortium of this application, and accessible to other academic, public and commercial groups.
