Awarded award for outstanding teaching Excellent Teaching in Evidence-Based Clinical Practice (EBCP) MBBS Year 3 at Monash University Malaysia for incorporating examples real life scenarios which made EBCP teaching more effective and interesting and enhancing teaching at international level through ASCEND (Asia Centre for Excellence Research on Non Communicable Disease). ASCEND was a collaboration between Monash University and the institutional partners in Malaysia, Sri Lanka and India that were awarded a Millennium Promise Award from the Fogarty International Centre, US National Institutes of Health to support the development of an Asian NCD Research Network over a period of five years. The aim was to improve population health and promote healthy ageing in individual countries and the Asian region as a whole by enhancing the research capabilities and to build a sustainable network of early and mid-career researchers and research institutions in Asian countries
