This grant was funded for the proposal "Understanding the role of Natural Killer Cells in suppressing breast cancer development". Foundation grant is awarded for innovative projects which is based on novel hypotheses and have potential to generate pilot data for further funding in the future. ~$55,000 was funded for this proposal to understand breast cancer progression. Most of the funding was returned to PMCC due to my move to Harvard Med to continue my research.
