Monash University, BDI Innovation in Learning and Teaching Award

A team award for Dr Kim Catania & Dr Chantal Hoppe for transforming the traditional DEV2022 Anatomy & Developmental Biology unit into an engaging online unit during the 2020 COVID pandemic. This great unit received SETUs of 4.48 in 2019 and was increased to 4.51 in 2020 using drop-in sessions (Zoom), innovative online practicals to replace body donor laboratories, assessments for learning, adaptive feedback and revision sessions for students and importantly, a student-led unit enhancement approach throughout semester.
