Excellence – Doctoral Program (one of one) of $500, School Excellence Awards, School of Public Health and Preventive Medicine, Monash University. This award recognises an outstanding contribution to the doctoral program by a student during their candidature that has significantly and positively impacted on their fellow students. Dr. Freak-Poli was nominated for her work representing PhD students within the department, her advocacy and representative work with the Australasian Epidemiological Association, her leadership around “greening” the school, exceptional supervision of B.MedSc(Hons) student who progressed to PhD program as a consequence of the positive experience.
