Dean's ECR Project Award: Deployment of ‘Asia as method’ in education research in the Asia-Pacific region

The aim of this study is to focus on deployment by applying it with HDR students studying in the Faculty of Education. It seeks to examine the core concept of Asia as method –in particular, the concept of “base entity”in different Asia-Pacific countries through its application by new HDR students at Faculty of Education. The research question that guides this project is how may the Asia as Method concept in education research be deployed and in what ways is this deployment influenced by the different national contexts in the Asia-Pacific region?
