Organised by the Australian Institute of Architectures (AIA), the Competition asked students at Deakin, RMIT, The University of Melbourne and Monash to consider the design possibilities for the public land that will be liberated by the creation of an elevated railway line between Melbourne's south-eastern suburbs of Caulfield and Dandenong.
At Monash, sixteen students working under the direction of MADA Senior Lecturer Markus Jung collaborated to create proposals for a variety of sites along the railway line.
