Biography

Dr Zoe Davidson is an Advanced Accredited Practising Dietitian specialising in paediatric nutrition and Course Director for the Bachelor of Nutrition Science in the Department of Nutrition, Dietetics and Food.

Zoe's research focuses on advancing the evidence base for the nutritional management of children with neuromuscular disorders. This body of work is the first of its kind. A key component of this research was a randomised control trial investigating the use of nutriceuticals in DMD as well as practice guidelines for allied health assessment and management in DMD

Zoe collaborates with the Neuromuscular Research Group at the Murdoch Children's Research Institute with a specific focus on energy expenditure and body composition in children with neuromuscular disorders.
