Biography

I am a paramedic and a NHMRC Early Career Fellow with expertise in prehospital emergency care and resuscitation research. I have over 100 publications in leading international journals and have attracted $6 million in competitive research funding, including an NHMRC partnership grant and Centre of Research Excellence. I am an emerging leader in the resuscitation field and have recently been named one of the European Resuscitation Council’s ‘Young Investigators of the Year’. I hold appointments as a Research Fellow at the Department of Epidemiology and Preventive Medicine, Monash University, as an Honorary Senior Research Fellow at the Centre for Research and Evaluation, Ambulance Victoria, and as an Adjunct Senior Lecturer at the Department of Paramedicine, Monash University. I am an Associate Editor for the Australasian Emergency Care journal and an editorial board member of Resuscitation. I also have 14 years’ experience as paramedic with Ambulance Victoria.
