Biography

Zhe An is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Banking and Finance at Monash University, Australia. He received a Ph.D. in Finance from the University of New South Wales and joined Monash University in 2015. His research interests are empirical corporate finance, information intermediaries, stock price crash risk, capital structure, and M&A. He has published in numerous academic journals, such as Journal of International Business Studies, Journal of Corporate Finance, Journal of Banking and Finance, Journal of Business Finance and Accounting, and Journal of Business Ethics, among many others. He received the Dean’s Award for Excellence in Research by an Early Career Researcher in 2018.
