Biography
Dr Zhaolin Chen completed his Ph.D. in MRI image reconstruction at Monash University. Subsequently, he was a postdoctoral fellow with the Florey Neuroscience Institutes and the University of Melbourne. He was then appointed as an imaging scientist with Philips Healthcare in Europe prior to joining Monash University.
Dr Chen's research interests include MRI and PET physics, image reconstruction, and image analysis for neuroscience and clinical applications. He particularly focuses on developing machine learning methods for these applications.
Dr Chen is also active in translating research outcomes into real-world applications. He has a number of patents implemented in medical imaging workflows.
