Biography
Dr Zhaolin Chen has substantial experience in both industry and academic research. He is at the forefront of both biomedical imaging and engineering research and translating engineering and scientific research into real-world applications.
Dr Chen's research is funded by ARC, NHMRC, and industry networks. He has received over 5 million funding in total. His research is published in top tier medical imaging journals including Medical Image Analysis, European journal of nuclear medicine and molecular imaging (EJNMMI), NeuroImage, Human Brain Mapping, Magnetic Resonance in Medicine, and IEEE journals. His publications have a median impact factor of 5.80.
Dr Chen is active in translating research outcomes into real-world applications. He has a total of ten patents and many of them have been licensed. These innovations are touching millions of lives each year and are used nearly in all countries around the world. His patents can be found at the Google Patent page [link].

- Methods development including acquisition and reconstruction for Magnetic Resonance Imaging and Positron Emission Tomography
