Biography
Euzebiusz (Zeb) Jamrozik has been described as "Australia's foremost infectious disease bioethicist". He is a current Australian Research Council (ARC) Research Fellow whose work focuses on expert disagreement in public health. He is also co-investigator on an ARC Discovery Project in the philosophy of biology, a National Health and Medical Research Council (NHMRC) Synergy project on malaria gene drives, and a Medical Research Future Fund first-in-human study investigating interventions for gonorrhoea.
Zeb combines clinical practice in internal medicine with research in bioethics. His work has shaped policy at multiple levels, including through authorship of guidance documents for WHO, UNAIDS, Safer Care Victoria, and the Australian Commission on Safety and Quality in Health Care. He has published extensively (h-index 27) in leading journals including The Lancet Infectious Diseases, Science, and Journal of Medical Ethics.
