Personal profile

Research interests

I am interested on integrating biological and engineering techniques to can monitor, optimise and maintain plants performance in green infrastructure for water treatment. My recent project focuses on evaluating the role of mycorrhizae in stormwater biofiltration systems for improving plant drought tolerance and growth and its subsequent effect on nutrient removal. Also, I am investigating measurements of plant physiology and soil moisture that can lead us to develop plant health monitoring systems in green infrastructure.
