Research interests

Dr. Villanueva was researcher and engineer in the "Libertad II" satellite mission - Sergio Arboleda University (2013-2015) and adjunct professor - Francisco José de Caldas District University (2017-2018) and Federal University of Goias (2022-2023). He has experience in Pure and Applied Mathematics, with emphasis on Numerical and Complex Analysis, Geometry, Smooth and Non-Smooth Dynamical Systems - Global behavior, Singularity Theory and Celestial Mechanics. He is currently working at Monash University on topics related to the n-body and Hilbert’s 16th problems.
