Biography

Yichao Zhao was born in China and received her B.Sc. degree from Fudan University in 2010, and earned her M.Sc. degree from the same institution in 2013. In 2014, she joined Professor Philip Chan’s group at Nanyang Technological University in Singapore where she worked as a research assistant. The following year, she followed Professor Chan to Monash University where she obtained her Ph.D. degree. Her research interest focuses on gold(I)- and silver(I)-catalyzed synthetic strategies for N-heterocycle formation and functionalization.
